Marc Austin was born in Miami, OK. He is a 23 year old student at FSU and will receive his B.S. in Meteorology this Spring. Marc also participates in a student-run tv weather program in Tallahassee, FL. Marc's interest in severe weather began when he saw a tornado video in 1st grade. He saw his first tornado on May 15, 2003 after dark near Shamrock, TX. Marc is a member of the-  Warmsector.com chase team based in Florida. The team started chasing in 2002 and has been chasing ever since. Marc is often behind the wheel during a chase. He can also be found editing storm video with the help of his teammates. In his free time, Marc enjoys camping, fishing, building Halloween mazes, and throwing Iron Chef parties. Marc, along with his brother Paul and Danish chasing pal Kai-Asle, submitted video for the May 4th and May 5th chapters of the 'Storms of 2007' DVD. Marc can be reached via e-mail at mda02@fsu.edu.
