Brandon Ivey's interest in meteorology and extreme weather began as a child.  Growing up in Kansas and being around severe weather all the time fueled his interest.  Brandon began chasing storms in 1996 and documented his first tornado in 1997.  He currently lives in the heart of tornado alley (Wichita, KS) and chases every opportunity he gets.  Brandon graduated from Mississippi State University with a bachelor in geosciences/concentration in broadcast meteorology.  He is the severe weather specialists on a radio feature that runs on more than 70 radio stations across the country.  This program is entitled "The Storm Report" and was started in the spring of 2005.  Brandon also chases for a local television station in Wichita.
