Gerard Jebaily began his meteorology obsession at the age of 6 when hurricane Hugo decimated his home state of South Carolina.  He began chasing locally as soon as he got his drivers license and has since documented many hurricanes and other severe weather.  He later moved to Norman, OK to begin his Meteorology studies at the University of Oklahoma.  During that time he became well experienced with chasing on the Great Plains as well as playing the trumpet in the Pride of Oklahoma.  Gerard plans on finishing his undergraduate degree at NC State and going on to getting a masters degree.   Teaching is one of his talents and is something he plans on doing after finishing school.  However chasing storms is his addiction and every spring he will make the 1500 mile drive out to tornado alley to witness and document storms.
